About this place
At lunchtime, there are two daily set meals to choose from. A diner who tried the ginger-grilled pork noted how tender the meat was, along with the selection of small side dishes. The set meals are listed as coming with two small side dishes, rice, miso soup and pickles, making for a complete lunch once you have chosen the main dish.
The tempura rice bowl is another lunchtime option. One diner found its seasoning not too strong and easy to enjoy throughout the meal. Choose the ginger-grilled pork for a set meal or the tempura rice bowl if you prefer a rice bowl, depending on your appetite and what you feel like eating that day.
In the evening, the menu includes set meals as well as sashimi, grilled and fried dishes, and rice dishes. For a solo dinner, one diner’s order offers a useful example: bottled beer, an assortment of sashimi, grilled amberjack collar, rice and red miso soup. The collar stood out in particular; the diner said it was grilled just right and that even the skin was delicious. Other meal options include the miso-grilled set, sashimi set and tempura set, listed at 1,300 yen, 1,400 yen and 1,400 yen respectively. You can share a few dishes over beer or other drinks, or opt for a set meal when you want something more substantial.
Omakase courses are listed at 4,500 yen and 5,800 yen, and both require a reservation at least two days in advance. A diner who tried the 5,800-yen course mentioned the fried lotus-root dumpling with sauce and the small dried sardines with sansho pepper. They also enjoyed some grilled mackerel sushi brought home to share with family.
The menu changes from lunch to dinner, so there are options ranging from a daytime set meal built around your choice of main dish to an evening meal of courses or individual dishes, depending on your plans.
